This point is very unusual, the striking two toned Chalcedony is a rare find and it will really stands out in a collection. These are from the Mid-Archaic period, 7,000-5,000BP. They are mostly found in the North Central area of the U.S. I would expect that my grandfather found it in the Northern Kansas area. Logan Creek points are considered the earliest side-notched points in the High Plains area. The side notches and flaking at the base are perfect.The maker appears to have taken great care to create a beautiful tool and work of art,
