This is an exceptional point from the Early Archaic period, 5,000 to 8,000 years old. It is very pretty, a creamy taupe colored Chalcedony. They are found in the Western US, mostly the South Central area, Texas. It has a well done concave base, sharp point and edges. Hoxie is a much older version of a Darl Stemmed or Zephyr point.
These are an unusual find!
