Huge 6 & 3/8” Dalton (Vian CreekType) trans paleo point made from high grade black pitkin chert found in Hughes county Oklahoma. One of largest known of this Rare type. It has the long auricles directly on the short shoulders that is seen on the late Paleo types. This style evolved to a more parallel “stem” or “waist” above the auricles before expanding out on the shoulders during the early Archaic period. Ex Mitch Lewis
