This light chocolate colored point is made of shiny Jasper with a good patina. It was a favorite tool of the owner as it was resharpened thousands of years ago many times. Definitely a unique shape with practical notching. It’s a beauty but was obviously a practical, go-to tool.
These points are from the Early to Middle Archaic period, between 6,000 and 9,000 years old! This one was found in the North Central area of the USA. The end point and side flaking are perfect and made to get the job done. Very sharp on one side.
You get a Dwain Rogers COA with the point.
