I have researched this artifact more than a little bit.
It was recovered from an area in South Central Kentucky where both Cobbs as well as Harpeth River points have been found. It is a unique variation of this group.
I believe it’s a Dover Chert material. Super thinning of the base, cross section varies and basically is flat on one side and beveled on the other.
The tip appears to be polished from use.
