Up for your consideration is this Natural Authentic Columbia Plateau projectile point. (Arrowhead) Found on the banks of the Columbia River, near the present day Priest Rapids Dam or Wampum Dam. This arrowhead is a from a very common Opal found in earth pits in Grant Co. Washington State. The geological time period was Miocene, Volcanic, Geological era of the past 25 to 20 millions years. Grading on this point is a full 8.5 No flat spots on either side and no curves. Note, this point is likely from a earth pit found near Vantage WA. in Grant Co. Has large deposits of lime on surface, however the point shows a light colored milky agate under the lime.

The Age and type of point by using professional standards is from the Professional classifications of about 200 before present, (BP). Age is about 200 years to 700 BP. Classification, is Columbia Plateau Phase III. We don't intend to say negatives about Overstreet, Publications, only that they need to use more professional information from Universities and establish modern Museum within the Pacific Northwest, not persons with personal interest in seeing their artifacts used in the publication for photo profit and claiming knowledge about the Columbia River when in fact most have never saw the Columbia or Snake River.
