This magnificent Benton Phase Mississippi Crown Bannerstone is the finest known to exist of its type. At just under an extraordinary 8’ in length and fully drilled, it is made of light mint-green colored claystone. This relic was found in Lafayette County Mississippi by a farmer who kept it on a shelf for decades thinking it was the handle from an old primitive butter churn.
