The northeastern Indiana Adena Robbins (Square Stem) is made of a form of Ohio Flint Ridge Chalcedony that honestly looks more like Indiana Hornstone--but hornstone generally isn't edge-translucent, "Ridge" is--the Chalcedony variety. In close up photos the color variation shows (more clearly) the color you'd expect from the Chalcedony type of Flint Ridge--length is an excellent 2&15/16" by 1&1/2", 3/8" max thickness. The stem is edge-ground and thinned (for hafting) with a channel flake on one face--about as close to a flute as you get with Adena Culture. The knapping quality is mostly pressure chipping--the flint itself made that possible, it worked so well.Patina is first rate, lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, i do not use paypal--Roy A.
