Fayette (and area) Illinois counties was the 'find area' for these four Early Archaic dart points--longest is slightly under 1&3/8"--a Stilwell I'd class it as based on the serrated blade and the cornernotching--the others range from 1&1/8" for the translucent C.N.(Crescent Quarry Chert); 1&1/8" for the hornstone Kirk, and 1&3/16" for the narrow Stilwell--note this dart has extremely heavy basal edge grinding--not completely sure, but with the red color in the flint it may be Payson chert/ flint--color and luster are right. Note the ring of grey on one cornernotch--good color. All four are from the Bill Pesch collection, they're guaranteed authentic. Shipping is only $5.00, and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry I do not use paypal--Roy A.
