Shipping is included with the price on this Knox County, Indiana, find--a Late Archaic Turkey Tail made from Indiana Hornstone, sharpened until the length (as it was lost) measures 2&5/16" by 1&1/4"--thickness tops at 1/4", so it's a thin profile, something that tells you the Late Archaic knapper started with a pretty thin preform--the thicker the preform, the harder (darn near impossible) to end up with a thin blade. The blade has a Bullseye ring on one side, a 'spot' on the other face, patina EVERYWHERE, lifetime guaranteed authentic. The blade shows considerable wear, and one barb is gone--stem edges are definitely ground, the base notched to aid in hafting the knife. Note: the piece was never washed, soil still shows, you can see exactly how it was found--if you want to wash it, that's your choice
