Used, salvaged, reused--the massive impact fracture to the tip is older than the last usage, likely the blade was a lot bigger when the impact fracture happened--the blade was thick enough that the Early Archaic hunter in what's now Indiana Warrick County couldn't chip the impacted edge without breaking the whole blade. Below the fracture they thinned and re-edged the blade, but at the tip they had to settle for just a sharp point--the flint Indiana Hornstone, limited what chipping they could do. Interesting piece, totally patinated, real. Length is 2&1/4" by 1&1/8"; basal edge has excellent edge grinding. Shipping is $5.00, checks or M.O>s welcomed, however I do not use paypal--Roy A.
