The average price is barely over $2.50 (plus $10.00 Priority Mail shipping cost) on these 25 Taylor County, Kentucky, area arrowheads--it's no exaggeration to say they're a mix of ancient cultures, from Early archaic (7500BP) up through Woodland , about 2,000 BP. A couple were pulled from a piece of paneling,, some bits of wood & glue to soak--others (the rest) were displayed in Riker Frames when I came by the collection. One thing they have in common is that each and every one is real. Sure, you'll see the corner or tip chips that indicate they were anciently used, but there are NO modern chipped points. Flints: gray Hornstone, mottled Ft. Payne/ Muldrough chert, a small Sonora Flint knife at the top center1&7/8", one small fossil chert Mid Archaic Period Atl Atl dart, plus a few I'll simply label 'chert'. Every chert/ flint has a name, but knowing them all is a lifetime's work. The longest is the Kirk Culture Cornernotch with some basal dings, bottom center, 2&3/4". The small1&1/4" dart next to that point is a heat treated flint, it has a fire pop out on one side. Neat pieces, REAL. One note: that side notch in the center would look good with the tip restored--good piece. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
