A Trigg County, Kentucky, creek find, a Little Bear Creek Mid-to-Late Archaic point, 3&13/16" by 1&3/16"--a slight stack in the center of the blade, the max thickness there is just over 3/8", but very thin at tip and base. As is typical of that timeperiod there in no basal edge grinding, although the sides of the expanding stem are dulled. The flint is really hard to say if it's a gray Dover or a grade of Hornstone--you can see mottling in it, so I would think Dover. The piece has not been washed, soil still shows in the flake scars. Note the tip has an almost 'hook shape', a natural curvature to the hafted knife blade (it wouldn't have worked as a projectile, not with that slight tip curve. Patina is no brainer authentic. FRee shipping, checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
