The collection that I am selling is a collection I inherited many years ago. Most of the artifacts in the collection that I can identify are marked in old collectors ink. The last known owner of the collection was a member of the Connecticut Archeological Society, as were his parents. Many of the artifacts were displayed on red construction paper that was popular in the 1960's. The collection was undisturbed since the 1970's. With Rare exception, the collection is an intact single collection that was amassed prior to 1970. To the best of my lack of knowledge, I feel Connecticut had a very large early American population that has been under appreciated, and under researched. I am not a researcher. I am a collector who would like to share this collection with a more knowledgable group of collectors.
