Up for sale is a fine nice specimen of a Middle to Late Archaic era Halifax Side Notch type point. The artifact is made from a beautiful translucent quartz material. This point measures 1 3/16" long x 3/4" wide. The artifact was recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
