Here is a very attractive authentic Kirk Corner Notch from Kentucky, made from classic Fort Payne chert. This is a well-shaped Early Archaic point with strong corner notching, good workmanship, and plenty of character. At 1 7/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide, it is a nice representative example of this highly collectible type.
The point comes with a Josh Davis Certificate of Authenticity, #11822, dated October 3, 2025. Davis identifies it as a Kirk Corner Notch, grades it G7, reports the origin as Kentucky, and identifies the material as Fort Payne.
