Excellent Mississippian pie crust bowl from Posey Co, Indiana. Superb workmanship on mussel shell tempered clay with a nice pinched design. It was legally recovered in a few pieces and glued together with very minor filler in a couple spots. Stands roughly 2 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches in length. Great relic for the pottery lovers out there.
