Up for sale is a specimen of an Early to Middle Archaic side notch point. I personally believe it to be in the Big Sandy category. This artifact was recovered from the Kanawha River Valley of West Virginia. It measures 1 3/4" long x 7/8" wide. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
