Large Tan Pedernales

This Tan Pedernales was recovered in Northeast Texas and is made from a large yellow cobble. This color is mostly found in the cobbles available in the sandy soil amongst the Piney Woods, north and east of the Livingston area.
It is complete with long ears and a good tip. One ear appears to have a flea bite on the end, which may be modern. It's a killer point and a healthy size to boot.
The Pedernales form was from the Middle Archaic thru the Woodland Periods.
