Up for sale is a specimen of an Early Archaic era Dovetail type point. This is an indented base variety. The blades are super serrated and beveled. This does have a small basal ding on one corner, but still displays very well. The artifact is made from a beautiful Flint Ridge material. It measures 2 5/16" long x 1 1/2" wide.
This was recovered from Ohio. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
