Just an absolutely fantastic point made of Semi-Translucent Colorado River Gravel with a fine tip and high peaked base. I thought it might be a Wells because the base is lightly ground, but I think Dawson is correct for the type. Made of mottled chert, it is a real eye-catcher. Just out of the ground from the Bastrop county dig site, this one is a keeper and comes with a Carlos Black COA. This is a collector grade artifact that will look good in any Archaic frame. I will guarantee authenticity and satisfaction.
