Carrolton Knife
This was a personal find by me in a Rangia Shell midden in League City, Texas. One of the very few larger lithic pieces that came from that midden, as the midden is dated to the later historic period to about 2200 years ago.
The material appears to be a highly patinad Edwards chert, and probably was used as a knife tool.
