This blade is over 5 1/2” long, has a great base and sharp point. The Adena points are found in the Mid-West, mostly Kentucky and Ohio, and are from the Late Archaic to Early Woodland Period, 2,200 to 3,000 years old. The material is an interesting gray colored Chert. The workmanship is fine quality, solid and well balanced.
Overstreet lists a similar sized Adena for $1,600!! It’s a great collectors item and comes with a Dwain Rogers COA. Priced to sell quickly!
