This is super rare!! The point is made from what is called Knife River Flint which is actually a rare petrified wood over 400 MILLION years old! This material was treasured by the Paleo-Indians due to the ease of working with it. Please read the article I have posted below in the images section.
So this little beauty is a very special addition if you enjoy collecting rare, special and unique artifacts. These points were made by the Cody Complex people.
This one was found in North Dakota near the Knife River. The point is from the Early Archaic Period, 8,000 to 9,600 years old. It has a nice shape, sharp edges and point.
