Dalton Classic
This was a personal creek find by me in Montgomery County, Texas.
I found it on a sand / gravel bar in Caney Creek, which happened to be near the town of Caney Creek, Texas.
I had stopped back by to re-walk an area because I had lost my Rayban Sunglasses off my hat somewhere earlier in the day. As I was talking to my office on the phone, I saw a several deer run across the creek up stream from where I was at the time. When I got to that spot I saw this point amongst the deer footprints and my sunglasses laying right next to it. Double the luck that day.
This artifact has taken on a pale yellow finish as well as a nice river sand polish.
