Here is a rare transplant Flat base Dovetail, which was found on a western Massachusetts farm about one hundred years ago! It was a family air loom and had been kicking around in a box for all that time. I believe it came from the indigenous Indians in Ohio as these things moved around a lot. I know that huge caches made it to Long Island as one containing hundreds of blades was found in 1969 about a mile from where I live. This monster point is well flaked and a whopping 4 1/8"! I believe it is made from Flint Ridge flint. Here is a chance to own a rare Dovetail point type very seldom seen for sale!
