This unique, hand-carved, spiral-handled, Eskimo Hide Scraper is made from fossil bone. It was found on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. In addition to the unique spiral carved handle, this scraper had drilled holes for attaching line and abundant staining attesting to its usage.
