I will admit I may have the type wrong it is a little out of my knowledge zone, but I did check with a trusted source, and he said it resembled the type. I checked about every type of Dalton, and it does have the base that resemble some of them. It is a well-made blade and if in fact it is a Dalton relative it is most likely a first stage. It is a big knife measuring 4 3/4' in length and 1 3/4" in width. Ex. George Wolf collection. Guaranteed authentic and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Roy Motley. 30-day inspection period. No reason needed for return. $10 shipping.
