A very nice example of an Ohio Dovetail. Early Archaic, This is made of patinated Nethers chert. The tip seems to have been reworked in ancient times giving it the little nipple tip. Use wear on the tip under magnification suggests this was used to drill something perhaps bone or shell. 2 and 1/2" long by 1 and 1/2" wide.
