Free shipping, A huge 2 3/8” thick and well made fish hook, when I first saw this I thought the material was iron, but after closer examination it appears to be copper, has a small nick and the copper is pretty obvious in that spot.
This example is from first contact era of Spanish
Found on private property many years ago on on the Estero Bay Area of Florida .
This example dates from the 1500’s to early 1600’s
I don’t know if it’s Spanish made, or if this natives found Spanish copper and made it from that .
