A base that isn't far from Dovetail status, but still too "stemmed" to not call it a Lost Lake, I think. The piece comes from the Adair--Russell County, Kentucky, area, Columbia, Ky, area collection. Length is right on 3" by 1&5/8" with both left blade edges (faces) bevel sharpened, serrated--and basal ground . One barb was angled, the other shows modest salvage work followed by angling the more stubby barb--every bit of the work is lifetime guaranteed patinated, ancient.. The flint is a grade of Sonora flint that turns up fairly far south in Kentucky--you'll find it in road cuts in that area of the state. Nice Lost Lake, great color and authenticity. Shipping is $5.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
