Okay...some time back into last year I did a "desk-top-clean-off", everything (close to fifty) went into a box marked "Mixed Provenance". Well, time flies, the box resurfaced on the very back or my often-junky computer table. Many of the pieces I recall the history, some I know they came from various Indiana or Kentucky groups, but remembering which, well, you try doing this. If you like to buy flint (as I do), if a piece gets pulled out of a frame, it easily can 'lose' its history--some pieces, I can tell I was looking at making a 'listing' of Drills, or Blunts, Thumbnail scrapers, maybe a group of "could be restored" points--a long, finely-knapped snap base blade (3&7/16" for scale) that I must have been 'working in an idea'. The listings I put on this store, they sometimes take days for the idea to finally come together...sometimes the idea doesn't quite 'gel'. That's life. Every piece is real, but that Sonora Paleo near the center DOES have a rechipped tip--crudely chipped, work, bought it as I was walking out the door of an artifact show fifteen years back--shoulda looked closer--it's still Paleo, though, that doesn't go away.. I'll include what history I can on the tagged pieces, what I can recall on those NOT tagged...the rest, they're from one of the two states I've long bought from. Shipping is $11.00, I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not use paypal. Questions welcome--Roy A.
