68286--A fine, fine 3.7" Indiana Celt
NO plow scratches, as finely made as any bit you'll see on a Celt, but only 3&11/16" length by slightly over 1&9/16" diameter in the center. The Posey County, Indiana, based (collection) Celt shows hardly any use, certainly NONE to the bit. Both top and bottom are flattened at the bit area, and the polish of the 'bit area' is super heavy. Based on the color I'll classify the piece as Greenstone, but if any geologist reads this, thinks it's something different, I'll correct that 'stone type'. Every possible detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic, exceptional patination, exceptional condition.
