The group of six blades were part of a frame of big blades, they came from an estate in north central Illinois, along the Illinois River--a couple of them (on the left) I'd call 'chisels', the flat-based blade a 'preform', and the other three simply flint/ chert knives or digging tools for edible/ medicinal root stocks. The longest is 4&3/8". NONE are delicate, the thinnest is the chisel in the upper left, 9/16" thickness. Note the wear polish on the face of the Elco Flint round-base tool--it was used as a digging tool, sandy soil polished the bit. Because of the combined weight the group will have to ship by Priority Mail, included with the price welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not take paypal--Roy A.
