At 3&9/16" this in definitely not a "little knife"--width is 1&5/16", and 7/16" max thickness. The first look may not show it, but the tip is NOT damaged, it's a work feature, polished from use as a scraper--gouge. Your hands will feel the work polish. The Pickwick is made of a good grade of Hornstone, shows some cortex on the stem--that stem, being Mid-to-Late Archaic culture, it isn't ground, although the sides of the stem were definitely dulled (for hafting the knife). The find is from an old Vanderburgh County, S.W. Indiana collection, guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $6.00, and either checks or M.O.s are accepted. Sorry, paypal is not taken--Roy A.
