Out of a Clark County, Illinois, collection, made of Indiana Hornstone, Harrison County Flint (Indiana), with strong, strong patination. The piece was in a very small collection (estate) around Marshall, Illinois. Length is slightly under 2&1/8" by 1&3/8"; both wings are 'clipped'--angled, intentionally, and the base shows the 'fractured base treatment' where a flake is removed inwards from either corner, then heavily ground. VERY heavily. At the thickest, the blade barely exceeds 1/4", mostly thinned, though. The tip does show use and wear (an old tip chip)--or even an old farm-made ding. Price reflects the tip. Simply authentic, period. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O.s are welcomed, but paypal is not taken--Roy A
