These Dickson points are from the Mid Woodland period, 1, 650 to 2,500 years old. They are found on Hopewell Indian sites mostly in the North Central states, first found at the Dickson site in Fulton County, Illinois. This one was found in Jackson County, MO.
The quality of flaking, sharpness and symmetry show the expert workmanship. Stem is slightly rounded with some beveling which is a rare find! The material is cream colored chert with nice flecks of color in it. Similar points are shown for $200-$500 in Overstreet!
Comes with a Dwain Rogers COA.
