I will say from the beginning, this one is not for everyone. The wise collector will always loupe his/her artifacts. But there are some collectors that love to loupe their artifacts. They spend a lot of time with a microscope or high powered loupe, just admiring and appreciating the work of the ancients. That is who this one is for. Not too impressive as a Stemmed Knife, it is the Foraker Chert embedded with galaxy fossils that make it special, about 10 of them. Collectors call them galaxy because when you look at them, they seem to spin off into the material like a galaxy in Star Wars or Men In Black. I have another great example or I would not sell this one. I purchased it from the finder at the Oklahoma show. It was recovered near the Arkansas River in Kay County and comes with a Bill German COA. Foraker, one of several flint types found in the Flint Hills, near Elker Canyon in Osage County, OK, and there is an outcropping near the Thrall Post Office in Greenwood County, Kansas (Thrall is a ghost town). For more information refer to "From Mountain Peaks to Alligator Stomachs" by Larry Banks (p 96-103). Don't have a copy? Es un placer servirte. Solo pregunte. I have the shipping.
