This Gower is an Early Archaic artifact that I found on a screen dig in Wilson County, Texas. Our dig site was in Sutherland Springs, along Cibolo Creek, just across the county road from the Infamous Wilson County Sandpit.
Very worn, with some impact damage to the distal end.
The material seems to be an Edwards Gray with a heavy pink/tan patina. Still has dig site dirt attached.
