A very nice example of a Late Archaic Stemmed Point found in Tuscarawas County Ohio. Thin and well made with nice workmanship and form. Made of colorful Flint Ridge with ancient patina and mineralization and multiple quartz veins. Not sure how to type this one, possibly Hopewell, but the flaking style and serrated edges make me think it's Late Archaic. Out of the Robert Converse collection, well known collector, author, and editor of the Ohio Archaeological Society Magazine. Measures just under 3" in length.
