A superb example of an Early Biface Blade found near Wilton in Sacramento County California. Very thin and well made with early flaking style and form. No damage or patina difference to blade edge. My guess is ancient maker knocked off a problem area or perhaps a spokeshave. This material is full of interesting inclusions. Made of high grade and colorful Franciscan chert, beautiful material with a waxy texture and green inclusions. Measures 4.75" in length.
