Super rare point here from the Western Stemmed Tradition. They are a very old type with several subtypes, and are related to the lake mohave. This epic point was recovered in Western Colorado and is made from Uncompagre blue chalcedony. The flaking is superb with fine beveling on blade and base and heavy basal grinding. Has a couple flea bites but otherwise in excellent condition! Measures 2 3/16 inches long. This is a must have for the western/plains collectors.
