Price includes the shipping on this Webster County, Kentucky, creek found Big Sandy, auriculate base (or Contracted Base). The base shows some light grinding in the center, but not much dulling on the twin lobes of the base. Note the almost flute-like thinning on one face--whether it's from long being hafted, or being ground is unclear, but you'll feel the polish in the basal thinning. The tip has micro flaking on the leading edge where the tool was used as a scraper (as well as a knife)--it patinated differently, but it's guaranteed ancient work. Neat piece, REAL. I welcome checks or M.O.s, but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
