These artifacts are so interesting and very unique in how they were flaked. Cabeza De Vaca tells how the Rio Grande natives often just dug a small depression in the ground and went to sleep. I can see them using a tool like this to dig up cattails, agave cactus and split mesquite beans for food. Then use it to dig a small hole to sleep in. Just stick a bone or wooden handle and it is good. Regardless, this pair is colorful and well flaked. They are called uniface but both of these are flaked on the obverse and reverse. I will guarantee authenticity and satisfaction and catch the shipping.
