This perfect specimen of a Madison Mississippian point is 200 to 1,500 years old. The shape is absolutely beautiful, very well made in every way. The base is concave and smooth. The material is a creamy light gray chert. Madisons are found in the Central U.S., this one is similar to the ones found in the Cahokia Mounds in Madison County.
