A very unique Scottsbluff point! Eye catching cream colored chert with lots of variation and some translucency. Stem, flaking and point show quality of the Cody Complex craftsman who made it. These points are 8,000-9,600 years old, from the plains region. This one is likely from the Missouri area, where my grandfather often ‘hunted’ points, a Scottland variant.
