Up for your consideration is this Natural Authentic Columbia Plateau projectile point. (Arrowhead) Found on the banks of the Columbia River, near the present day Dalles Dam, near the Oregon town of the The Dalles, Oregon. Found on the Washington State, side of the Columbia River, near Horse thief State Park and covered by the waters of the Dalles Dam. The material is very dark gray chert. This chert is very common in that area, from the Miocene, Volcanic, Geological era of the past 25 to 20 millions years. Grading on this point is a full 10. No flat spots on either side or no curves. Just a little of center, small point used to fish for Pacific Salmon. Buy from a professional and be sure you getting the correct information.
The Age and type of point by using professional standards is from the Professional classifications of about 200 before present, (BP). Age is about 200 years to 700 BP. Classification, is Columbia Plateau Phase III. River, without any real field schools, college class, and professional schooling about the Pacific Northwest.
