Glued to a display board , a mix of pieces the finder picked up (found) along the Ohio River--the piece may be from Posey County, Indiana or across the river in Henderson County, Kentucky. The flint is right for the area--West Franklin Chert, and other Daltons were found near the tiny Indiana town of the same name as the chert. Normally you don't see flaking of this high quality on points--that parallel Early Archaic flaking is pure artistry, the flake scars stair-step to the snapped tip- worth restoring, or displaying as-is, your choice. Length is 2&1/2", almost 3" if restored. Width is 7/8", and 5/26" max thickness. Both lateral and basal edges show some degree of edge grinding. Simply real, period. Shipping is $6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not take paypal--Roy A.
