Made of beautiful brown and white chert, this Guerrero/Mission point is very well made with a straight base and fine tip. The base is thinned and the edges show use wear. It comes with a Sam Williams COA and I have the shipping. I used to own this years ago and had the chance to buy it back. As you are probably aware, Guerrero points have to be found near Spanish Mission and Presidio complexes because they were made by the "Indios Reducidos" in the missions. I hope to do an article at some point but believe I have enough examples for the article so I will let this one go. I have spoken to several knowledgeable people as well as a Catholic Priest that has spent decades studying the Mission complexes in Texas and Mexico. It is interesting as to why the acolytes changed the style of point after they came into the Mission complexes and I think the info is worth sharing.
