The blue 'center of the nodule' quartz inclusion in a Harrison County, Indiana, ball of flint, that very blue inclusion forms about three-quarter of the entire point(3&1/2" by 1&3/16" width)--working that high silicate inclusion made for some Mid-to-Late Archaic knapping trouble, the flint artisan couldn't get thickness under 1/2" along the medial ridge--thick knife, Perry County, Indiana, origin, but patinated, real in every detail. The stem is actually the best made part of the Pickwick, skilled work, lightly edge-dulled.
